Overview

Canceling a subscription is used to terminate a user’s automatic renewal authorization. Merchants can disable the recurring charge function when a user cancels voluntarily, the payment method becomes invalid, or the merchant needs to suspend the service for business reasons.

• Merchants should provide a ‘Cancel Auto-Renewal’ option to allow users to freely terminate their subscriptions.
• The cancellation should take effect immediately in the user interface and does not require calling Oceanpayment to cancel the subscription.
